Guinness - Surfer

Kudos to the trainer who got the giant horses to run on the water! Imagine if you went back in time and showed this to someone who had never seen a film before. How do you think they would react? There’s some story about in the very first film ‘the arrival of the train’, when the train came towards camera people ran out of the theater because they thought a giant train was coming. I have a similar story. When I was very little there was bit on the children’s show the electric company. An empty white void. Two guys in white construction jumpsuits appear lugging their gear. The goofballs proceed to assemble flat panel pieces about an inch thick, which eventually unfolds into a tunnel. In the vast distance they hear a hiss. They look about. More hiss. A train. The steam. Now worried. The tunnel has depth. They crawl into it. Papers are flying out now something is coming. They come running out of the tunnel as a train now on the verge of eclipsing them. The workers jump out of the way of the train just in time as the train flies pout of the tunnel. A mesmerized little tot , I violently lunge at the tv and turn it off before the train can enter the living room. I did this many times, before my father finally noticed, and explained, “thats just television.” HA! What does he know.

Guinness - Dreamer

Welcome to Dream Club. The first rule of Dream Club is: you do not talk about Dream Club. The second rule of Dream Club is: you DO NOT talk about Dream Club! Third rule of Dream Club: if someone yells “stop!”, goes limp, or taps out, the Dream is over. Fourth rule: only two guys to a Dream. Fifth rule: one Dream at a time, fellas. Sixth rule: the Dreams are bare knuckle. No shirt, no shoes, no weapons. Seventh rule: Dreams will go on as long as they have to. And the eighth and final rule: if this is your first time at Dream Club, you have to Dream.
